Refund Policy

The short version: NeedETA does not charge travelers anything, so there is nothing for us to refund.

NeedETA is free

The NeedETA eligibility checker and all nine travel calculators are 100% free to use. There is no subscription, no signup fee, and no purchase of any kind. Because we never take payment from travelers, there is no NeedETA charge that could be refunded. If you ever see something claiming to charge you "for NeedETA," it is not us — please let us know.

Third-party partner services

NeedETA may link to independent third-party services, such as ClearForTravel for personalised visa briefs or Malaysia Travel Card for arrival-card filing. These are separate companies. If you purchase a service from one of them, that purchase is a contract between you and that company, governed by their own refund and cancellation terms. NeedETA does not process those payments and cannot issue refunds on their behalf. To request a refund for a third-party service, contact that provider directly and refer to the terms you agreed to at checkout.

Government fees

Official visa, ETA, eVisa, and ETIAS fees are charged by the relevant government. Government application fees are generally non-refundable, even if an application is refused, because you are paying for the processing of the application rather than a guaranteed approval. Always review the official government terms before you pay.
